What a difference a day makes... after a gloriously sunny Friday wedding in Fife, we headed to the Mull of Kintyre the very next day where stair-rods of rain fell from 11am til midnight. But while the views were obscured by the relentless downpour, a great day was had by all inside the castle. Certainly the guests sang along to 'Bring Me Sunshine' with gusto and there were more than a few people moved to tears AND laughter by such a rousing singalong. We hit it off with Lucy & Kenny from our first ever meeting back in 2010 and thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with them. While some people shy away from the rain, it was their idea to get shots of the amazing view, even if it meant umbrellas and wet feet. One of the highlights of our day was a trip into Tarbert, where Lucy & Kenny took us to the Cafe Barge moored in the harbour for some more photos & a drink. The soundtrack to the journey was, appropriately, Purple Rain.
