Paul & Lesley, Park Circus and Abode Hotel, 6th May 2011

We've had the good fortune to shoot quite a few weddings at Glasgow's Park Circus, but this one felt quite different - we have no idea how it happened, but something changed with the light and it seemed like we moved from Northern Britain to the shores of the Med. Paul and Lesley were happy to put up with our requests of "actually, can we just try one more shot...?" as the clouds moved around and we chanced across yet another attractive doorway. The reception, held at Abode Hotel in the city centre, had plenty more photo ops and the staff were really helpful in basically giving us the run of the top floor for taking pictures. Things we loved from the reception: personal favours chosen by the bride and groom for each guest - a bottle of carefully selected nail varnish for the girls and a favourite miniature for the boys. Also, reflecting their love of good music, they'd made a mix cd for all the evening guests.
