Greco-Scottish relations were strengthened back in June with the wedding of Lorna & Giorgios. Though they both lived in Greece they returned to the bride's homeland for the wedding, bringing a large contingent of Greek revellers with them. There were plenty of details from both countries incorporated in their wedding - a violinist & piper both played traditional Scottish tunes during the day and guests were treated to jars of homemade lemon curd made from fruit grown in the couple's own garden back in Greece. Not to mention the fact that one of the best men translated all the speeches so every guest could enjoy them - though we suspect he may have embellished the jokes a bit as they got much louder laughs in Greek than in the original English...
