As you may have noticed from the date of this wedding, we're working our way through a bit of a blogging backlog after a very busy summer. One of the nice things about blogging a July wedding in October is how all the details come rushing back having been packed away for a few months. On a day like today (pouring with rain, slate skies, biting wind) I can't quite believe that we actually did get to shoot photos of a golden cornfield and see a sunset after 9 at night. It was one of the rare beautiful summer days - we watched Morven pick flowers from her garden, took a walk in the woods after the ceremony, listened to live Scottish folk music as kids ran around outside in the evening. I don't want to ramble on too much here, because I think the pictures speak for themselves and should give you a hint of just how much we enjoyed spending the day with Morven & Ali. One small thing to note though - the cake decorations match the Liberty print table-cloths. Who ever made that deserves a round of applause.
