Back in the Summer we had the privilege of shooting Gareth and Catherine's wedding at the Glasgow Art Club. The Art club is such a fantastic venue with a real old gentleman's club vibe. This really suited the laid back feel to the day. The girls from Butler & Taylor cranked up some tunes on the gramophone during the cocktail hour and also provided the lovely vintage crockery on the tables. We designed Gareth and Catherine's favours using photographs from their pre-wedding shoot (which you can see here) to make CD covers containing a disc with all their favourite tracks. Both Gareth and Catherine are singers so music featured heavily throughout the day. Catherine sang to Gareth during the ceremony which had most guests, including Gareth, in tears. Later into the evening the dancing started off with Le Fleur by Minnie Ripperton then descended into a rowdy ceilidh. The evening ended with Catherine singing with her sister, which once again had everyone in floods of emotional, happy tears.

This looks like such a great wedding!! The photos are fantastic, as usual, and the ones of the cocktails look very Mad Men-esque, love it!

Oh these are super amazing photos from their big day. I can imagine how proud you must be feeling after such a successful photo session. Thanks my friend for the sneak peeks. We also would be tying the knot in 80s style at one of the garden NYC venues and I am sure that our photographer would also capture the precious moments such nicely!
